I don't know whether to laugh or cry...
Today I gave an exam to my freshmen. Due to an oversight on my part, number 24 did not have an answer, so I told them what to fill in on their scantron sheets. I even wrote it on the board. The kicker? 8 of them still got it wrong. That's almost 20% of my students.
Maybe I should check to make sure I'm speaking in English.

Wow. I'm stunned. but that's only cuz my exams are the week after next.
I think, in that case, you should still count it--it shows their real aptitude!!!
Naw, mate. No worries and no biggie. I also wrote a correction on the board, stating that a certain word in the word bank needed to be letter NN, not D, since there was already another D. How many corrected it? Not nearly enough. Whatever.
