You Can't Make this Stuff Up...
A few quotes from recent classroom experiences:
"What do I need analytical thinking skills for?" (Oh, the irony.)
In a recent word game where all of the blanks are filled in by names of states in America, I gave my students this sentence:
Someone stole our trash _______________ you can see, so we have nowhere to put our garbage.
In every class so far sans one, someone has answered "Canada." I gave it to another teacher to show her, and she said "Canada" too.
"Do your nieces and nephews call you Aunt Miss Bush?"
"If you marry a guy with the last name that starts with W, then your initials will be MBW!"
One thing about teaching - it is NEVER boring. If you are bored, it's your own fault.
My friend Tim recently sent this poster that he created at the "Demotivators" and I thought it was hilarious. Maybe you can enjoy this too:In every class so far sans one, someone has answered "Canada." I gave it to another teacher to show her, and she said "Canada" too.

So, what's the answer?
So...I think I'm pretty close with New Hampshire but I'm not quite sure that it fits.
(That Tim is a pretty funny guy)

Andrew wins the prize...but maybe I'll take of points for spelling! :-)
Yeah, that was the email I was talking about. Also, I was just joking around with you about the shower, I was surprised you were coming since Nikka didn't tell me, so I pretended I didn't know what you were talking about.
I'll see you tonight! Really looking forward to it.
some of my personal favourite classroom "belches" we call them here...
1. "if every single french person died, would we still have to be here?"
"yes, because i would be."
"what if you die?"
2. "Ms. Marcus, what's your last name?"
