You Can Call Me "Peter Pan"
Yesterday, while doing my favorite thing in the world - lunch duty - a student stopped me and said, "I have a question for an adult."
My first thought was, "Why are you asking me?"

I have that, too. Especially when old ladies call the office and say "I want to speak to the person in charge of ...", and then that person's me, and I'm explaining the legality of using our logo or name when throwing a party in honor of a cancer survivor or something. It's crazy. Or when people from hiring and temp agencies call, and they actually listen when I explain to them that we don't want to use them, and don't ask to speak to my manager. When did we become adults?? Why are we in charge of stuff?
